There is a quote from Gayo that says, “Uet nome turah kona kupi gayo, kegere ngupi gere muke emikiren te”, which means, “After waking up, we should drink Gayo coffee, by drinking coffee, our thinking becomes open.” Arabica Gayo comes from Aceh, the northern area of Sumatra island, Indonesia. We source our Gayo coffee from various areas, including Pondok Gajah, Bener Meuriah, and Takengon. Javanico is currently working with two processing units, one located in Pondok Gajah and the other in Takengon.
